Nintendo Switch 2 Unveiled Today
By the time you are reading this Nintendo will have hosted a Nintendo Direct presentation today, April 2, 2025, at 9 a.m. EDT, focusing on the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 console. The event was live-streamed on Nintendo's official YouTube and Twitch channels and lasted approximately 60 minutes.
During this presentation, Nintendo unveiled detailed information about the Switch 2's hardware features, system specifications, pricing, and release date. The console will feature magnetized Joy-Con controllers, an additional USB-C port, and backward compatibility with original Switch cartridges.
