Now, Summers has partnered with NF Publishing and Capcom to create an officially licensed guide for the original Mega Man game. This collaboration ensures the project's legitimacy, allowing fans to enjoy the guide without legal concerns.

Hand-Drawn Game Guides: Mega Man offers:

Brooklyn Games & Arcade Faces Closure; Community Rallies to Save Beloved Gaming Hub

Brooklyn Games & Arcade, a cherished spot for retro gaming enthusiasts, is facing the threat of closure. Opened in 2021 by owner Esteban Sosa, the arcade quickly became a community hub in Bay Ridge, offering unlimited play for $16.

However, a decline in patrons, coupled with rising rent and electricity costs, has jeopardized its future. Sosa notes that people are going out less frequently than they did a few years ago, impacting business.

In response, devoted fan and merchandise designer Ariel Mendoza launched a fundraising campaign. By selling $40 merchandise tees, with 70% of proceeds going directly to the arcade, the goal is to cover rent through March 2026. Each purchase is matched by a contribution from Mendoza's own pocket. The campaign has garnered international support, with orders from countries like Canada, Mexico, South Korea, and Japan.

Local supporters emphasize the importance of preserving in-person arcade experiences. Ben Fong, a Dyker Heights resident, highlights that the arcade scene is diminishing, with many now opting for online gaming.
